Published shortly after Thomas died in  1953, this is the First Separate Edition of this Christmas classic. Crown 8vo: 31,[3]pp, with red chapter headings and vignettes. Publisher's parchment-colored, threaded paper-covered boards lettered in red and black, spine lettered in black, title page in red and black; matching typographic dust jacket priced $1.50.
Unclipped dust jacket in protective myalr  is in good condition with a several stains noted on the back. (Please see photo).
