A Garland for Girls, by Louisa May Alcott
1888, First Edition published by Louisa's original publisher, Roberts Brothers, Boston.
Good antiquarian condition. Terracotta cloth cover with inlaid black and gold gilt.
Some fraying at top and bottom of spine cloth; board corners have light bumping with exposure of the board in the top right corner of front cover. Slight lean to book. Binding is secure with some cosmetic cracking and exposing of hinges. Although this book shows previously love and shelf wear, in our opinion, it remains a nice, first edition copy to grace an Alcott collector's shelves.
