Includes 44 color illustrations attached to brown pages as well as black and white sketches. 0ff-white cloth cover with gilt title and illustration on cover and spine as well as top edge gilt. with original spine laid on. Some pages are uncut. Interior is clean and bindings are tight (with beginning of loosening to the front cover). It appears that top corners of many pages may have been bent/indented at one point as they now lay flat but there are crease marks.
 
Slight scuffing to bottom corners and more significant scuffing/warping to top corners. 
 
This is an oversize book, approximately 11.75 inches tall and 9.5 inches wide. Published by William Heinemann, London, 1913.
