Rose in Bloom, by Louisa May Alcott
This 1903 reprint by Roberts Brothers and Company, Boston, still has some bloom left on the rose.
Overall good antiquarian condition. Hunter green cloth cover some rubbed places on cover and back (please see photos). Gold gilt inlay on spine is slightly faded but remains clear and readable. Black embossing on cover ads a touch of elegance.
Binding is good and feels like it could start to loosen with aggressive reading. But cradle this book and turn the pages like a Victorian lady afraid to drop her tea cup, and this one will be fine.
A lovely copy to grace the shelves of any Louisa May Alcott collector's library.
