1890 reprint of Louisa May Alcott's SILVER PITCHERS (first published in 1876).
Published by Roberts Borthers, Boston.
Bright and elegant condition, this volyme is bound in terra cotta cloth decorated with black and gold-colored inlaid gilt, and sports a shiny silver pitcher on the cover. Lovelt condition for its age.
Minimal wear noted to the exterior with the exception of some light rubbing in the corners of the bottom part of the cover.
Interior, binding is tight with some cracking and exposing of the hinges in a few places throughout.
A nice gift for an Alcott collector or appreciator of beautiful antiquarian books.
