Six miniature classic volumes in a soft cover leather case. Removable, each volume is secured by an original leather strip bound into the leather case. "Made in France" is stamped inside the case by the closure snap.
In worn condition. Fair/Good overall and sound. While each volume's leather covers differ in level of wear, the miniature book bindings are all in good condition, and the volumes are labeled as "made in France".
Case: 5" x 4.75" Chocolate brown leather with gold stamping. The "T" in the title word "The", and "M" in the word "Marvelous" are worn yet still readable.
Each mini book: 2" x 1.5" x ~0.75"
Titles and condition for each volume:
Paradise Lost by John Milton
Brown leather case quite worn with fading of the gilt text. Closed 1" tear in the leather to the right of the snap. The snap and closure, and the volume inside, are in good condition.
The Little Webster Dictionary: 18,000 words
Black leather case is in worn condition but remains structurally sound. The snap works well. Rubbing and some loss to the lettering on the leather cover making it hard to read. The volume is in good condition.
The Golden Treasury of English Songs
Brown leather cover has a closed 1" tear to the right of the snap. The snap works well.
The book itself is in Very Good Condition.
The Arabian Nights Entertainments
The dark brown leather casing is in the best in the group and shows some wear but is clearly readable. The snap works well, and the book is in Very Good Condition.
Don Quixote Cervantes
The brown leather casing is sound but shows rubbing and wear. The snap works well. The book is in Very Good condition.
Hamlet and Macbeth William Shakespeare
The light brown leather casing is very worn and become fragile around the snap. It will likely tear from the snap if not opened with care. Very rubbed and it is hard to read the title on the leather flap. Inside, the book is in Very Good condition.
